These compounds are often used to address certain infertility issues in women. Clomiphene is known to stimulate the body’s production of gonadotropic hormones, helping rebalance testosterone levels and reduce the risk of entering a catabolic state. It achieves this by prompting the anterior pituitary gland (hypophysis) to increase its activity following cycles involving prohormones or anabolic agents. This, in turn, supports the rise of hormones responsible for the development and release of a mature egg during ovulation. However, this medication is not suitable for women whose ovaries are unable to produce healthy eggs or for those with pituitary or ovarian failure.
